Redmi Note 9 Pro sales to restart tomorrow in India

The Indian government allowed smartphones to be sold in designated areas after revising the lockdown guidelines over the weekend. Following this, Today, Redmi India has announced that its recently-launched Redmi Note 9 Pro will be up for sales from tomorrow, starting at 12 pm IST.

As per the company’s tweet, the Redmi Note 9 Pro will go on sale tomorrow at 12.00 PM IST on both amazon.in and mi.com. Earlier to this, the company had tweeted that it will start shipping products to both Green and Orange zones that have been designated by the Government. Redmi India also iterated that it will be following all the precautions directed by the state.

Additionally, the company announced that Rs.1,000 will be waived off on using ICICI Bank Credit cards and EMI payments. If we recall, the company launched its latest Redmi Note 9 Pro back in March but the sales of the phone had to be postponed because of the nation-wide lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The phone is definitely a great offering at the budget segment.

Talking about the specifications, It has 6.67-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 20:9 aspect ratio protected by Corning™ Gorilla Glass 5. The phone has a single punch-hole at the centre of the display housing a 16MP selfie shooter. Rear of the device has a quad-camera setup with a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP Ultra-wide, a 5MP Macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor in a rectangular housing. Under the hood, it’s powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC with NAVIC support. 

The phone comes with a 5020mAh battery and an 18W Fast charger in the box. The phone runs on MIUI 11 based on Android 10 out of the box. The phone comes in two variants – 4GB RAM, 64GB storage priced at Rs.12,999 and a 6GB RAM, 128GB storage priced at Rs.15,999.
