Apple is expected to feature 5G technology on the iPhone 12 models will introduce in September. Since the iPhone 12 will come with 5G technology, talks were held with Qualcomm in the first place. However, Apple didn’t like Qualcomm’s antenna design for 5G, but instead wanted to design it by itself. It is said that Apple will look into dealing with Qualcomm again because of the work that has been disrupted by the coronavirus pandemic. Jon Prosser, known for his analysis and technology leaks, states that all models of the iPhone 12 will come with 5G technology. It is said that Apple, which will introduce four different models, will not apply the same 5G standard in all its models. Unfortunately, the 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch affordable models will not have the mmWave 5G connection. In theory, these models will offer 5G support. But they will not be used efficiently as there is no mmWave standard.

Sub-6 networks are capable of offering between 200 and 300 Mbps of download in the United States, which is more than enough for most consumers. But iPhone 12 Pro models will offer much better speed.

We know that Apple’s competitors switched to 5G in 2019. However, it was nonsense that Apple did not even put this technology on the models sold for $999. Unfortunately, iPhone 11 Pro/ 11 Pro Max users will not be able to use 5G technology.

So, if you want to switch to the iPhone 11 family right now, let’s say that it is useful to wait a little longer. Because all iPhone 11 models only support LTE connection.
