Vivo V19 Indian Launch Set for May 12, Might Price Around $331 Price Tag

Just like with other smartphone launches, Vivo also ended up delaying its Vivo V19 launch event quite some time. With non-essentials restrictions lifted in India, the Chinese smartphone maker is finally launching its upcoming smartphone. Well, we now have the official launch date along with some expected specs and pricing range of the device. Apart from Vivo, Honor and POCO will also launch their offerings on the same day. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming Vivo V19 smartphone.

Vivo V19: Launch Date, Price in India

Vivo V19 will see its official unveiling on May 12 i.e. coming Tuesday which is right around the corner. Initially, the device was supposed to launch on March 26 which then got delayed numerous times due to coronavirus outbreak. The device might come with an INR 24,990 (i.e. roughly $331) price tag. It is worth noting that the Vivo V17 comes with a price tag of INR 22,990 ($304).

Specs, Features

Talking about the specifications, Vivo V19 is equipped with a 6.44-inch Dual iView E3 Super AMOLED panel. It has a resolution of Full HD+ and features a punch-hole cutout for dual selfie cameras. Under the hood, the device runs on Snapdragon 712 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal memory. In terms of optics, we’re looking at a quad-camera module on the back. The module features a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calling, there is a dual-camera setup with 32MP and 2MP sensor with the second one being the depth lens.

All of these are backed by a 4,500mAh battery with the support of 33W Vivo Flash Charge 2.o. On the software front, we’re looking at FunTouch OS 10 with Android 10 OS underneath. Other specifications and features include WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G connectivity, and a USB Type-C port for charging.
