Back in March, Apple closed all its retail stores outside China due to the coronavirus pandemic. As the COVID-19 awareness increase with more people understanding the precautionary measures, the company is now opening its stores gradually. A recent report shows that Apple will re-open all four Apple Stores in Switzerland on May 12 at 11:00 a.m.
This is coming after reports claim that the company will re-open all its 15 stores in Germany on May 11. Presently, it has four stores in Switzerland and they are in Zurich, Waliselen, Geneva, and Basel. Furthermore, Apple will also re-open stores in Idaho, South Carolina, Alabama, and Alaska next week.
Gizchina News of the week
Apple Stores in Switzerland will follow similar health and safety guidelines used by Apple to reopen in South Korea, Austria, and Australia, i.e. shorter opening hours, focus on equipment repair operations, encourage customers to place orders online, etc.
It now appears that the company will continue to gradually open its stores in different countries. This will obviously depend on the country’s COVID-19 rules and regulations. The American manufacturer also has its own guidelines for re-opening its stores across the globe in these pandemic times. If Apple is not open in your country and you need to visit the store, you have to be patient. Since it is re-opening its stores now, there is a tendency that all stores will be open soon if the virus spread doesn’t get worse.
