Honor refreshed its Honor 30 series with the latest Honor 30, Honor 30 Pro and Honor 30 Pro+. The company had begun this refresh back in March with the Honor 30S. Now, a new tip reveals that the last entrant on the series, the Honor 30 Lite could debut in the second half of this year.
A trusted leaker for Honor and Huawei products, has shared new information on Weibo. According to the tipster, the Honor 30 series is not done yet. This is obvious as the Honor 20 series from last year had 4 phones: Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro, Honor 20S and Honor 20 Lite.
Gizchina News of the week
The company has already launched the successors for all the models except the Lite version. This makes us believe that the Lite version of Honor 30 could be the next launch of the Honor 30 series. However, the tipster feels that the phone won’t come out until June or July.
This could be due to the fact that the Company has been actively teasing its latest Honor X10 series. It has been aggressively promoting the phone as the next big revolution in the 5G era that is scheduled to launch on May 20 in China.
If we recall, the Honor 20 series had the latest flagship SoC of the year but the Honor 20 Lite had to settle with the Kirin 710F SoC owing to its budget. This makes us believe that the next Honor 30 Lite could debut with the Kirin 810 midrange SoC. However, there are no official specifications or leaks regarding the device and we can expect further leaks to pop up under our radar once the X10 series hits the stage.
