The most interesting innovation may be the introduction of the second generation Qualcomm 3D Sonic Max fingerprint scanner into the device series, which is 17 times bigger than the previous one and allows two fingers to be read at the same time at even faster speeds. The position of the front-facing hole will not change and will still be centered on the display. The diagonal of the younger Galaxy Note 20, according to Ross, will be 6.42″, while the Note 20 Plus will receive a 6.87″ panel.

The battery capacity will increase compared to the previous Note 10s with their 3,500 mAh in the younger version and 4,300 mAh in the older one. Note 20 series will have batteries in the range from 4,000 to 5,000 mAh. The maximum amount of RAM will be 16GB. According to Ross, the launch dates of the Galaxy Note 20 series will not change compared to previous years and you can expect a presentation at the beginning of August with the start of sales within a month.

According to previous leaks, the South Korean giant is preparing a screen with 120 Hz refresh rate with improved technology on the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20+. Samsung will choose an LPTO OLED panel to avoid draining the battery.

Samsung is developing a mode that goes from a refresh rate of 1 to 120 Hz depending on the content displayed. If you are on the Always-on display screen, the phone will be able to content itself with displaying one image per second. This way, it will conserve its battery without depriving the user of the 120 Hz mode during the video game sessions. Energy efficiency could be better 5 to 15%.
