HMD Global, the company behind Nokia’s revival is busy with its campaign of further increasing its presence in Europe. The next step given by the company was bringing someone who is very familiar with the European markets to the bandwagon. Adam Ferguson, the former European head of Marketing for OnePlus will now take on the hold of Head of Product Marketing for HMD Global.
Ferguson already worked in other companies that are part of this industry as the British carrier EE. Before that, we attended in senior marketing positions at Nestle and Unilever. Rather than just building a plan for further European expansion, Ferguson will act to improve the marketing strategy for the whole lineup of Nokia smartphones. The new head of marketing will report directly to HMD’s new Chief Marketing Officer, Stephen Taylor.

Interestingly enough, Taylor also comes from other mobile experiences. He has been a CMO for Samsung Electronics in Europe and more recently held the CMO position at PayPal EMEA. Nokia has recently released the Nokia 8.3 5G, 5.3, and 1.3 in March. Apparently, these devices will be the pieces in the company’s new market strategy. Moreover, the company also has a lot of work to do after the release of the Nokia 9.3 PureView. The device comes with the hard task of turning Nokia relevant in the flagship segment.
