The orders for the main components of the iPhone 12 series have been settled, and mass production may have begun. Though we have got some rumors claiming the launch of this handset may be postponed for a month or two, the suppliers have begun making various components.
iPhone 12 Screen
The recently leaked news said that the iPhone 12 series may include the iPhone 12, the iPhone 12Max, the iPhone 12Pro, and the iPhone 12Pro Max. Their screens are 5.4 inches, 6.1 inches, 6.1 inches, and 6.7 inches, the latter two support 120Hz refresh rate. Display Supply Chain Consultants, an authoritative consulting organization in the global display field, said that Apple’s upcoming iPhone 12 Max will use OLED panels from BOE and LG Display. Samsung will provide display panels for the 5.4-inch iPhone12, 6.1-inch iPhone 12Pro, and 6.7-inch iPhone 12Pro Max.
At the same time, MacRumors reported LG has contracted camera modules for two high-end 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch devices. It is expected that by 2020, the shipment of the device will reach 35 million to 40 million units. Sharp and Ophelia have reportedly received orders for 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch phones. Their shipments are expected to reach 50 to 55 million units. All suppliers will start camera module production in July.

According to Digitimes, LG Innotek, Sharp, and Ophelia have received orders for Apple’s camera modules that should appear on the new iPhone12 devices. As you know, the selling point of the new models is the AMOLED screen. They should hit the market in the second half of this year.
