The market and appeal for true-wireless earphones are growing by the days. It started with just a few devices, but now, it’s almost mandatory for companies to launch their respective TWS products to compete in this segment. We’ve seen a couple of new true-wireless earbuds from several companies this year, it’s not a premium product anymore since even affordable options are popping out. In the future, we expect at least one TWS offering from each of the various smartphone makers leading the market. Now, it seems that Vivo is gearing up to enter the affordable branch of this segment with a new pair of Earbuds dubbed Vivo TWS Neo. The new hearables will go official along with the Vivo X50 series.
Gizchina News of the week
The new hearables will be more affordable than the company’s TWS earphones from 2019. The company revealed a small teaser video that is enough to see how the new TWS earbuds will look like. Actually, they are very similar to their processors with a stem in-ear approach and oval-shaped carrying case. Interestingly enough, it won’t be joining the bandwagon of colorful TWS phones, instead, it will be available in White and Dark Blue color options. The latter color is the variant of spotted in this video. According to the teaser, the new hearables will offer an improved sound quality with low latency. But how about other advanced features like ANC? If this is an affordable earphone, unfortunately, there’s just a small chance that a feature like this one will be present.
Interestingly enough, the original Vivo TWS headphones have a starting price of around CNY 999 (~$140). The new hearables may cost a little less than its predecessors, we would bet in a price tag of around 899 (~$126). But unfortunately, that bit will only be revealed on the Vivo X50 series. The new smartphones are expected alongside the new Vivo TWS Neo on June 1.
