Reno is a popular series from Oppo, and their latest was Oppo Reno 3 lineup. Now, some images have been leaked showing the successor to Reno 3 in its full glory. The Oppo Reno 4 is the upcoming device from Oppo, and the banner that has been leaked on Weibo shows that the phone will be using a bold design. Thanks to the banner, we have some high-light of specifications that the device will be carrying.
Oppo Reno 4 Design
For now, only the rear side of the Reno 4 is surfacing the web. The leaked poster shows a quad-camera setup on a big module. The sensor itself is pretty large. iPhone 11 series started the trend of bold design and now many Chinese companies are following it. Other than that, we see slogans and Oppo branding on the device, which I guess will not be the case with final devices.
I personally like this bold design and hope that the camera performs better. There are two colors shown in the banners including Blue and Pinkish Gold color. Whereas, earlier leaks showed Black and White options too.
Oppo Reno 4 Specifications
The banner also revealed some specifications of Oppo Reno 4. The Reno 4 will be carrying 65W fast charging support, ultra steady camera, and 5G connectivity. And as you can see in the images, the side of the device shows a power button and not a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, hence there can be an AMOLED display on Oppo Reno 4.

There are four sensors on the rear including primary, ultra-wide, and telephoto. The last can be a ToF, macro, or depth sensor. The Reno 4 will be making its way first in China, although there is something about the moniker of the device. As you know BBK Electronics has never used “4” in their smartphone lineup, as OnePlus jumped to OnePlus 5 from OnePlus 3T, skipping the number 4. Since number 4 is a resemblance of bad omen in China.
Oppo Reno 3 5G Specifications
Talking about the predecessor to Reno 4, the Oppo Reno 3 5G comes with 5G in China whereas the global version is 4G only. Oppo Reno 3 5G comes with 6.4 inches AMOLED display with a tear-drop notch. There is a quad-camera setup including a 64-megapixel primary, 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and two 2 mega-pixels. There is a 32-megapixel camera on the front for selfies. The Chinese version used MediaTek Dimensity 1000L chipset for 5G connectivity.
There is a 4025mAh battery with 30W fast charging support, which is claimed to charge 50% in 20 mins. The Oppo Reno 3 Pro has price tag of around 440 EUR.
