The Samsung Galaxy Note 20+ is clearly one of the most awaited device that will hit the market in the next few months. Now, while not too many news are coming from company’s home turf – South Korea, we cannot say the same about China. Some bloggers from the Asian country have indeed found some very interesting data on Chinese’s certification site 3C. According to them, we’re looking at the Chinese variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20+.
Going into specifics, the 3C certificate appears to confirm the smartphone will be packing an averagely sized battery. We’re indeed talking about a “rated” capacity of 4370mAh; while the “nominal” capacity may eventually be 4500mAh. If this were to be confirmed, then it means the typically larger Galaxy Note 20+ will be packing a smaller battery as opposed to the Galaxy S20+ that boasts a 5000mAh juice pack. Meanwhile if we compare it to the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, we’d have around the same capacity (4500mAh).
Gizchina News of the week
Earlier this week, a render the Galaxy Note 20+ was leaked online. It showed a smartphone with a design very similar to the Galaxy S20 series. So, basically we’ll have a punch-hole in the upper center part of the display, a metal frame, glass back cover and rectangular camera module. The only real difference will be at the bottom of the Note 20+, with the opening to house the S Pen; in typical Note series style.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20+ Spotted on 3C Certification Website
Other design elements should include a flat screen design, ultra-narrow borders and a slightly wider bottom. Meanwhile on the back we should find a four cameras module which will include a periscope camera. So, Samsung will abandon the 100 megapixel sensor and 100 times digital zoom and use “simple” a periscope lens to achieve optical zoom.
As far as specs are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20+ will be equipped with the latest and most powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 865; at least for some parts of the globe. While other countries will get the less requested Samsung Exynos 992 chipset. We also know the smartphone will measure 161.8 x 75.3 x 8.5 mm; so it’ll be slightly thicker as compared to the Galaxy Note 10. Meanwhile screen wise we expect to find a large 6.7 inch panel.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 20+ will launch in an online conference in July or August.
