The smartphone industry is consistently improving and Google is at the hub of development in this sector. According to recent reports, Google is testing a new feature that allows consumers to use Voice Match to authorize payment confirmation. However, the company has confirmed that not all purchases will prompt voice recognition. Currently, this feature is only available for in-app purchases and restaurant orders, not for Google Shopping.

Although there are words from the American tech giant that this feature exists, the company has not officially announced this feature. There are reasons to believe that it was planning to release this feature at its 2020 I / O conference. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, it had to cancel the 2020 I / O conference.

Nevertheless, this feature is located on the payment and security settings page of Google Assistant. On this page, you can see the “Confirm with Voice Match” option. Google also confirmed that the feature is still being tested. If the feedback and performance are too negative, the feature may not even be released to the public. At present, the company has tested voice payment in some smart speaker products.
