Samsung is gearing up to launch a truly affordable phone under Galaxy M-series. The device is known as Galaxy M01 and will be slightly superior to the Galaxy A01. According to recently leaked info, the handset will cost just INR 9,000 (~$113) in India for the base version bearing 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
The specifications, however, aren’t much impressive. But that’s understandable for a phone in this price segment. According to Google Play Console listing, the phone will sport the Snapdragon 439 chipset. This particular chip is a bit outdated, and there are better offerings like the Helio G70 that could hit that price point, but Samsung opted for sticking with the very same chip present in the Galaxy A01. Of course, the handset has 1GB more of RAM if we compare it with the budget offering of the A-series.
The M01 has an HD+ display and ships with Android 10 straight out of the box. Of course, we’re expecting One UI 2.0 to be running above.

The Galaxy M11 will hit India soon
Samsung’s recently released, Galaxy M11 can be considered the second device in the M-series ladder. The new handset will soon reach India with an INR 11,000 (~$144) price tag. For that amount, users will get the 3GB of RAM with 32GB of storage version. Of course, there will be another variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, but that one will cost INR 13,000 (~$171).
The Galaxy M11 has a 6.4-inch display with a top-left punch hole housing an 8MP selfie snapper. Moving around to the back, we have a triple-camera setup comprising a 13MP, 5MP ultrawide, and 2MP depth modules. In the rear, we also have a fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy M01 and M11 are expected to launch in India in the first week of June.
