Amazfit T-Rex will reach India in the next month


Huami’s Amazfit has been expanding its business out of China during the past years. The company has already established a solid presence in competitive places like India. A few days ago, the first reports regarding Amazfit Bip S launch in India started to surface. The affordable smartwatch/fitness tracker will reach the country on June 3. Today, a new report indicates that the rugged smartwatch, Amazfit T-Rex is also heading to the country pretty soon.

The Amazon T-Rex should be revealed in the second week of June. It will be sold via Amazon just like its sibling Amazfit Bip S. The giant of e-commerce already revealed a promotional page to build up the hype for the new smartwatch. The T-Rex is a good offering for wanting the experience of a good smartwatch, but that also need it to be very durable.

The Amazfit T-Rex came earlier this year, during the only public technology event we had in 2020 – CES 2020. The wearable came with a price tag of $111, or CNY 799. It is available in five colors and sits as the company’s strongest watch. Its rugged design boasts 12 military certifications. You can understand then, that we’re not kidding when we say rugged smartwatch.

AmazFit T-Rex specifications

Talking about the specifications, the smartwatch packs a 1.3-inch AMOLED display with a huge plethora of watch faces to choose from. It also has a high-precision GPS chip made by Sony. Talking about the smart features, the T-Rex offers 14 sports modes. Among them, we have hiking, climbing, and trail running. The new watch needs to support extreme circumstances, therefore, it has water-resistance up to 50 meters.

Health-related features are also present here like a 24-hour hear create monitoring. The watch also supports call reminder features, app notification support, and other smartphone-integrated features. According to the official specs sheet, the battery can offer up to 20 days of life or 66 days if you use it in the basic watch mode.
