EMUI 10 update released for Huawei P20 Pro and Mate 10 globally

EMUI 10

Huawei knows perfectly well that the key to success is to regularly support its smartphones and other devices. That is why the manufacturer has now announced that it has already begun distributing a global update to Android 10 along with EMUI 10 for Huawei P20 Pro and Huawei Mate 10 smartphones. According to the schedule, these devices were not expected to get Android 10 until mid-June.

EMUI 10 update released for Huawei P20 Pro and Mate 10 globally

Recently, Huawei P30 and Huawei P30 Pro smartphones began to receive the update to EMUI 10.1. Now is the time for the P20 Pro and Mate 10 models to get the EMUI 10 running on the basis of Android 10. Although the update was made available globally, as always it is distributed in waves, which means that not everyone will receive it at the same time.

Both updates are quite massive, because the one intended for Huawei Mate 10 weighs 4.39 GB, and for Huawei P20 Pro even more, as much as 4.59 GB. The update brings a refreshed user interface, the dark system theme, as well as new privacy settings, animations and gestures. If you are looking forward to this update and the notification of its availability has not yet appeared, it does not hurt to try to call it manually. To do this, just go to settings and go to the section dedicated to software updates.
