OnePlus 8 Series Indian Launch Pushed Back Yet Again, This Time Indefinitely

OnePlus 8 Pro

Last month, OnePlus revealed its eight-iteration of flagship devices namely OnePlus 8 series globally. Soon after the global unveiling, the lineup made its way to the Indian market. Like most of the smartphone brand, OnePlus has also faced numerous restrictions due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the country.

For instance, the device was originally expected to go on sale on May 11 which didn’t happen. The official sale was then pushed back to May 29 for both regular and Pro variants. As the sale day is inching closer, the Chinese smartphone maker announced yet another delay. Unlike the previous delays, this time we don’t have any particular sale date to look forward to.

OnePlus 8 Series Sale Date Pushed Back Indefinitely

OnePlus issued an official statement on its forum explaining why the sale is delayed yet again. As per the forum post, the production facilities were temporarily halted last week due to unforeseen circumstances. As a result, OnePlus is not able to keep up with the sales plan resulting in yet another push back. The forum post further adds that the production is now back up and running.
