OnePlus and Epic Games recently announced a new cooperation that would bring Fortnite at 90fps to the OnePlus 8 series. With this cooperation, the OnePlus 8 / OnePlus 8 Pro are the first smartphones to run Fortnite at 90fps.
Most Android phones run Fortnite with a maximum frame rate of 60fps, which is the same as the Xbox One and PS4 versions. As for the Nintendo game console, it runs Fortnite at a maximum of 30fps. Most Apple devices, including iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR, run the game at a frame rate of 60 frames per second. However, the iPad Pro can run the game at a maximum frame rate of 120 frames per second, thanks to the tablet’s computer-level ultra-high refresh rate display.
However, enabling higher frame rates on the OnePlus 8 series will change the default graphics settings to “low quality”. This means that the game will not perform best in all aspects. Of course, the PC version of Fortnite is the most flexible in terms of frame rate, of course, it depends on what kind of hardware you have.
