The mid-range ZTE Axon 11 5G was launched in March. Now, ZTE wants to make 5G accessible to everyone and hence ZTE has brought its cheapest 5G smartphone yet, called the Axon 11 SE 5G. Although, the Axon 11 SE 5G is a budget phone that doesn’t mean it will lack powerful specifications. The Axon 11 SE 5G features a quad rear camera setup and Dimensity 800 chipset that supports 5G.

ZTE Axon 11 SE features a 6.53-inches IPS LTPS LCD panel. The display has a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Due to the fact that Axon 11 SE 5G isn’t AMOLED, it sports a punch-hole notch compared to a teardrop notch on Axon 11 5G. In the camera department, the budget-oriented Axon 11 SE sports a quad rear camera setup led by a 48-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front side, we have a 16-megapixel shooter for selfies.

Coming to the internals, the Axon 11 SE 5G features MediaTek Dimensity 800 chipset which supports dual-mode 5G. The device comes in various storage variants. Offering up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB internal storage. And you can always increase your storage up by a MicroSD card. A 4000mAH battery is present on the Axon 11 SE, and you will be able to charge it quickly thanks to the 18W fast charging support. On the software side, you will get MiFlavor UI on top of Android 10 out of the box.
ZTE Axon 11 SE 5G Price & Variants
The Axon 11 SE features multiple storage variants. The base model which comes with 6 GB RAM + 128 GB is priced at 1,998 yuan ($280). 8 GB RAM + 128 GB variant comes at a price tag of 2,298 Yuan (~$322). And finally, the top tier model which comes with 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage is having a price tag of 2,598 Yuan ($364). The Axon 11 SE 5G is now available for pre-orders in China on ZTE Mall, ZTE JD flagship store, and ZTE Tmall flagship store.
ZTE Axon 11 SE 5G Initial Impressions
According to specifications on the sheet, I will say I am quite impressed by ZTE. They are pushing 5G to even budget-oriented smartphones, and I also like their smart decisions in this regard.
