Oppo has locked the dates for the launch of Find X2 series of smartphones in India. The Oppo Find X2 series has the Find X2 and the Find X2 Pro. The latest teaser by the company has confirmed that the devices will be launching in India on June 17th.
Amazon India’s teaser page has already gone live highlighting the important features of the devices. The Oppo Find X2 and the Find X2 Pro are the next iterations of the Find series of smartphones in India. Considering the current situation, we can expect an online exclusive event on June 17 at around 4 PM IST.
Oppo India has been teasing the arrival of Find X2 for a while now. It unveiled the Find X2 series in Europe a few months back. The smartphones were expected to launch in India but probably got delayed due to the virus.

Oppo Find X2, Find X2 Pro Similarities
Both the smartphones have similar specifications apart from a few differences. They have the same 6.7-inch AMOLED QHD+ display with a resolution of 3168×1440 pixels. In addition, the display, which is HDR+ certified, has a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1200nits.
There is an exclusive O1 Ultra Vision Engine processor, which can upscale contents from lower frames to a higher 120fps. It also boasts software aided 10-bit color rendering.
Both the devices are powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 865 5G SoC. And, an Adreno 650 handles graphic-intensive tasks. Storage variants extend up to 12GB of DDR5 RAM and 512GB of storage. Also, optics include a similar Sony IMX 689 48MP Primary sensor on the back.
Differences: Optics and Battery
The differences start in the secondary lenses of both smartphones. Further, the Find X2 has a 12MP wide-angle and a 12MP telephoto camera. It has a 4,200mAh battery.
On the flip side, the Find X2 Pro has a 48MP Sony IMX 586 wide-angle sensor and a 13MP telephoto lens on the back and it packs in a slightly higher 4,260mAh battery.
Expected Price
Coming to prices, both the smartphones have fast charging support of up to 65W through USB-C 2.0 port. They are expected to run the latest Color OS version based on Android 10.
Currently, the Find X2 series retails at a starting price of EUR899(Rs.83,000) in Europe. We can expect similar pricing in India. However, Oppo is known to surprise us often and hence, we will have to wait for the official pricing.
