Huawei claims that the temperature-taking version of the Honor Play 4 Pro can measure the temperature range of -20 to 100 ℃, the minimum division value is accurate to 0.1 ℃. And there is no difference for this handset whether it measures people or objects.

Anyways, the Honor Play 4 Pro features the Kirin 990 flagship chip. The CPU has a maximum frequency of 2.86GHZ, a 16-core GPU, and Huawei’s self-developed Da Vinci architecture NPU. In addition to the strong 5G performance, there is also a 40W super-fast charging and NFC smart card selection.

As for the pricing, the Honor Play 4 Pro 8GB+128GB infrared temperature-taking version costs  2999 yuan ($423). It is available in a magic night black color variant. The phone will be officially launched at 10 am on June 9.
