Samsung is gearing up for the launch of Galaxy Tab S6 Lite in India. The company officially teased the launch on Twitter with a two-day countdown yesterday. Now, Amazon India page has gone live saying pre-orders will start from June 8th.

The latest Amazon page gives us a glimpse of what we can expect. The promo page shows a big display with bezels on the sides and a USB-C port on the button along with speaker grills at the bottom.

Further, the Amazon page tells us that the pre-orders will start on June 8th. This suggests the device will launch on the same day as teased by the company earlier. The device is also listed on Samsung’s official website.  It has a “Register Now” option that will notify the users once the product arrives.

Specifications: Tab S6 Lite

The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is not an entirely new slate exactly. The tablet was launched in Indonesia, UK, and Europe back in April. Recently, the company also made the device available in China. Looking at specs, Samsung seems to have nailed the specifications for a mid-range tablet.

The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite that is retailing in other countries has a 10.4-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels. The display has thick and uniform bezels on all sides.

The tablet is powered by a processor clocked at 2.3 GHz which is likely the Exynos 9611 SoC. It has a single 8MP camera with a flashlight on the back and a 5MP selfie shooter upfront.

Sadly, the tablet doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor, unlike the high-end Galaxy S series. However, the company includes a dedicated S-Pen in the box meaning the device will come with full support for Galaxy S-Pen.

There is a 7040mAh battery backing all these up.  The tablet also has the latest 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity. A 3.5mm audio jack and a Micro SD card for storage expansion up to 1 TB also complement the specification further.

The retail version of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite should come with a 4GB RAM and 64/128GB storage versions. The Amazon page shows us a Blue version of the device but we can expect other colours like Grey and Pink as well. As for the price, it is retailing at around $399 in other countries and we can expect similar pricing in India.
