South Korean tech giant – Samsung – is reportedly thinking about launching the new Samsung Galaxy Note 20 line up in an online without the public. Needless to say this choice is based on the pandemic situation that is currently affecting many tech companies and their press events.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20, Foldables and Tablets to Launch on August 5th
The rumors around the August launch event were spread by the Korean media at the end of May, but they are now back in full swing thanks to the well-known leaker Ice Universe. According to him, the Samsung event will indeed take place on August 5th.
According to the source, which on other occasions has proven himself to be well informed about Samsung’s release plans, the South Korean company will launch a good number of new devices on stage. These will include the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and 20 Ultra; the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 and Z Flip 5G; the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and S7 +; and finally the Samsung Galaxy Watch 2.
So, we’re going to see the new Note series, along with new foldables, tablets and wearables. What more could we ask for?

Either way, the launch date may still change in the meanwhile, but the event behind closed doors is probably something certain considering the current health situation and the fact that Samsung has chosen the United States for the biggest events in past years. For example, the Note 10 line was launched in New York last year; same goes for the Note 9 also launched in New York.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Specifications
As far as specs are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 should be packing a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen; along with a punch-hole in the upper-center. Meanwhile the Galaxy Note 20+ is almost certainly going to feature an even bigger 6.9-inch Super AMOLED. Both handsets will then be equipped with the latest and most powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 CPU paired with up to a whopping 16GB of RAM and 25W fast charging.
It is worth mentioning that the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series will have an Exynos version, more specifically, it might be equipping the new Exynos 992 chip; which is a slightly improved variant of the older Samsung Exynos 990.
Photography wise, the Galaxy Note 20 series will be packing a main 100 megapixels rear camera; along with support for OIS (optical image stabilization).
