The Realme C2 will soon get the pending Realme UI update in September. Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth made the revelation amongst a bunch of other stuff in his #AskMadhav Q&A session on YouTube

Last batch of Realme phones to get Realme UI: Realme C2

The last batch to get Realme UI includes Realme 5s, Realme 5i, Realme 5, and the Realme 2 Pro. On the other hand, the Realme 1, Realme 2, Realme C1, and the Realme U1 won’t get it. The Realme C2 started shipping in mid-2019 with Android 9 and Color OS 6. Hence this Realme UI update should be a big bump up for the ultra-affordable handset. It remains to be seen if it will receive the Android 11 update though.
Realme UI is a big crossover for Realme handsets as the company moves away from its parent Oppo’s Color OS skin. Along with a completely new cosmetic look, Realme UI brings features such as Dark Mode,  and partial screenshots. Also, Personal Information Protection and gestures such as swipe down for notifications, double-tap to lock the screen. Features like Focus mode and much more similar to OnePlus are also there.
Some of it is borrowed from Color OS 7. However, features like a Google search bar on the home page bottom and swipe-up app drawer give it a stock Android feel.
