Two years ago, Mobvoi announced its TicWatch C2. It was an elegant smartwatch powered by WearOS. Now, the company is ready to deploy a new wearable in the growing market of smartwatches. The new wearable feels like an updated version of the C2. For that reason, it carries the TicWatch C2+ moniker and boasts 1GB of RAM and also comes with an extra black silicone strap in the box alongside the pre-installed one featuring leather material. The new smartwatch also comes with new watch faces. Other than that, the smartwatch is slightly similar to the C2.
TicWatch C2+ specifications
The new smartwatch has genuine leather straps paired with a stainless steel watch case. The new Mobvoi smartwatch flaunts a 1.3-inch AMOLED display with 360 x 360 pixels of resolution. That’s exactly the same dimensions offered by its predecessor it also comes in a single 42.8mm in size. Under the hood, the wearable is powered by the Snapdragon Wear 2100 SoC paired with 1GB of RAM. Interestingly enough, the TicWatch 2 only had 512MB of RAM. The wearable also includes GPS, heart rate sensor, gyroscope, accelerometer, and NFC. Everything is ensured by a 400mAh battery. According to the company, this power cell is enough to provide 36-hours of continuous usage and the watch is also IP68 rated.
On the software front, the WearOS smartwatch offers a huge plethora of sports tracking modes. Moreover, it has two exclusive applications – TicMotion and TicExercise. These Mobvoi features will monitor your progression through exercises. The company also states that users will be able to experience a smooth software experience thanks to the 1GB of RAM. The NFC functionality will allow the user to perform cashless/contactless payments.
