OPPO TWS earbuds patented in China with in-ear design

As we stated many times, the market of TWS earphones is getting more competitive by the days. The so-called hearables segment is pushing along with smartwatches in the wearable segment. It’s natural to see more and more smartphone makers launching products to compete in this trend. One of the companies that have recently joined this segment is Oppo. In December last year, the company announced its first truly wireless earphones-  The Enco Free. Since then, the Chinese giant continued to churn out several earbuds in a bid to grab a share of this competitive and growing market. Now, it seems that there is a new pair of OPPO TWS earbuds coming as the new hearables have been patented with the Chinese patent office (CNIPA).

Oppo’s latest wireless earbuds adopt an in-ear design as well as a stem that is just like the Enco W51 TWS earphones that were released earlier this month in China. The major difference between the two is that the recently certified model has a short stem whereas the W51’s stem is quite long. The back of the earbuds also has a slight curvature. Last but not least, it features a circular gold ring and a cut-out most likely for noise cancellation.

Unfortunately, there are no details regarding the specifications of the new OPPO TWS earbuds. However, we expect them to include advanced features like an active noise cancellation microphone. Considering the fact that it has a short stem, it is likely coming with a highly-sensitive microphone. Other expected features are Bluetooth 5.0, IP water resistance rating, and possibly a durable battery. The wireless charging is basically confirmed as the design reveals a pair of pogo pins for charging the earbuds inside the charging case. Worth noting that the patent shows the earbuds in a Black hue. However, Oppo is likely to unveil additional color options.
