Earlier this year, Samsung announced the Galaxy S20 series in the form of Galaxy S20, S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra. As you can assume, the Galaxy S20 Ultra was the most impressive, and consequently most expensive, device of the trio. Under the hood, it carried the same Snapdragon 865, but some details like a 5,000mAh battery and Penta-camera setup made the device stand against the competition. Talking about the latter aspect, the device came with a 108MP camera, something that surely attracted the spotlights. Now, Samsung is gearing up to unveil a new smartphone series – The Galaxy Note 20 series – and apparently, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will pack a camera of the same kind.
The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra story has been quite complicated. At first, we have been hearing a couple of rumors about this handset with some alleged renders popping out. However, all of sudden, reports emerged stating that Samsung had ceased its plans for a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra variant. Now, reports are once again, saying that Samsung will ultimately release the most high-end version of the Note 20 series. Apart from sharing similar specifications with the Note 20+, the Galaxy S20 Ultra now is rumored to come with a 108MP main camera, just like its sibling
Gizchina News of the week
The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will repeat S20 Ultra formula
The report comes from the very reliable Roland Quandt from Winfuture.de. Of course, this might not be a big surprise, after all, the S20 Ultra undoubtedly has its 108MP as the main selling point. For that reason, even the first rumors were assuming the presence of the very same sensor on the Note 20 Ultra. However, Quandt states that he’s “seen hard evidence” of the presence of a 108MP camera on this smartphone. Given to the tipster’s good track record, the Note 20 Ultra is likely arriving with this sensor.
