,Realme could be looking to fulfil the wishes of its fans sooner as the company has patented a variety of camera designs for its smartphones recently. The patent was granted at China’s Intellectual Property Administration(CNIPA).
The new designs have come under our radar via a tip from a twitter user the_tech_guy. Looking at the images, there are four designs of rear camera layouts in total.
The front of the device has the common waterdrop notch style display housing the front camera. There are volume buttons and what looks like a SIM card tray to the left. On the right, there is a power button. But, that’s not what we’re more concerned about here.
Realme’s Patent: What’s New?
Speaking of the rear, the first layout is reminiscent of Vivo’s S1 Pro. That’s the first thought that crosses the mind. The Vivo S1 Pro has a diamond-shape cutout for the rear cameras. There are four cameras with a centred flashlight inside the housing.
The next design is a circular layout of the rear camera which isn’t uncommon to see these days. The design was brought to light by Huawei on its Mate 30 series of smartphones which the company said was based on Halo Ring design.
The cameras are positioned in a triangular manner inside the housing and are accompanied by a flashlight. The remaining two designs, however, seem to be a bit new. One of them has an X-Shaped layout where the cameras are at every vertex of the design.
