Redmi K30i (8GB+128GB/256GB) to hit the shelves tomorrow for 1799 yuan ($255)


When it comes to budget-friendly devices, Redmi is obviously one of the best companies to go to. Some time ago, Redmi debuted the Redmi K30i 5G and to date, it is one of Xiaomi’s most affordable 5G phones. In fact, it is also one of the most affordable 5G smartphones in the market. Back in December, the company unveiled the Redmi K30 5G, the K30i is simply a lower version of the K30 5G. Now, Redmi has officially released the Redmi K30i higher models for sales. According to the official announcement, the Redmi K30i 8GB + 128GB/256GB version will be available for the first time tomorrow.

Interestingly, the 8GB + 128GB model will sell for 1799 yuan ($255). This is the same price tag of the 6GB + 128GB version which hit the shelves earlier. The 6GB + 128GB version now sells for 1499 yuan ($212). However, the 8GB + 256GB version will be available for 1999 yuan ($283).

In terms of configuration, the Redmi K30i uses a 120Hz refresh rate 6.67-inch 20:9 punch-hole screen.  Under the hood, we have a Snapdragon 765G and it also supports dual-mode 5G.  In the camera department, we have a Sony 48-megapixel main camera. It also comes with a 120° super wide-angle lens, a super macro lens, and depth of field lens. On the front, there is a 20-megapixel camera as well as a depth of field lens.
