According to some Chinese sources, it turns out that Huawei and Honor are ready to enter the gaming laptop market. Moreover, new laptops of this kind can be presented very soon in the current month or in August. First, Honor will introduce its models, followed by Huawei. Although there is no doubt that the laptops will be the same, the difference is only in the brands.
Huawei and Honor are about to launch gaming laptops
Honor brand head Zhao Ming has repeatedly noted that the gaming laptop segment is interesting to the company. In particular, here is one of his comments: “they were planned for a long time, and it was great to sharpen the sword for several years”. Since it took several years to develop new products, it means Huawei will be able to offer something interesting. Finally, we will have an alternative to MSI and Asus gaming laptops that should be interesting and relatively inexpensive. In terms of hardware, the new laptops may include the 10th generation Intel Core H processors and AMD Ryzen 4000H processors, as well as GeForce RTX 20 video cards.
Honor MagicBook Pro 2020
It is worth to mention that recently, Huawei’s Honor brand has announced the Honor MagicBook Pro 2020 edition during its Honor Smart Life event. The new laptop weighs 1.7Kg and is 16.9mm thick, however, what’s more, interesting is fitted underneath.

These specifications are built around a 16.1-inch FHD display with slim bezels and a 90% screen-to-body ratio. The laptop features a premium aluminum-alloy body and has two custom-made fans to ensure that everything will be cool, even during intense usage. Last but not least, the new 2020 edition features a 56Wh battery that should ensure at least 14 hours.
