Apple’s iPad Pro is currently one of the best tablets available and in response, Samsung is going to launch its Tab S7 series. Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 series will consist of two models: the vanilla Galaxy Tab S7 and a better Tab S7 Plus model. It is expected that Samsung will launch the Tab S7 series alongside the Galaxy Note 20 series at Samsung’s Unpacked event which is going to take place on 5th August. A report by SamMobile has revealed the full specifications of the Tab S7 Plus model, and I have to say it’s looking promising!
Galaxy Tab S7 Plus Specifications
Starting from the display, Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ would feature 11-inch and 12.4-inch displays respectively. The Tab S7+ will rock a screen resolution of 2800 by 1752 pixels with 267 PPI. Both will be featuring a SAMOLED display for punchy colors. And yes, the tab S7+ is going to support S Pen. Like on the Tab S6, you will be able to use the S-Pen as a remote control on the Tab S7+ as well. The tab S7+ also supports an in-display fingerprint sensor for unlocking purposes.
Moving to the camera segment, we have dual rear camera setup on the rear side comprising of 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors. While an 8-megapixel front camera is present for selfies. Nothing fancy in the camera segment, it is pretty much like on the previous generation Tab S6. However, things get fancy when the processor is concerned.
Gizchina News of the week
Powerful Chipset
The Galaxy Tab S7 is going to be powered by no other than the most powerful chipset for Android devices: Snapdragon 865 Plus. The 865 Plus is a recently announced chipset from Qualcomm. It is an improved version of already powerful enough Snapdragon 865. For comparison, The 865 Plus provides 10% faster GPU power over the predecessor. The 5G chipset supports Sub-6 GHz frequency bands. The chipset is further paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM, with 128GB and 256GB storage respectively. Like the previous-gen tablets, this one is also expected to have a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion.
The huge display, a 5G chipset will require a lot more battery. Hence, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ comes with a huge 10,090 mAh battery. We will know more about the charging speeds at the launch. On the software side, the tablet will rock OneUI 2.5 based on Android 10 OS. For now, the Galaxy Tab S7 Plus Specifications seems promising, however, the competitor iPad Pro is also quite strong.
