Moto E7 Live Photos and Hands-on video pop out in the web

Moto E7

Motorola had a rough start this year in light of COVID-19 disruption in smartphone sales and manufacture. Now, it is doing its best to bring all devices that couldn’t be released in the first half of 2020. A few months ago, the company introduced the Motorola Edge and Edge+. The latter was the company’s first flagship after some years focusing on the mid-range segment, the former a cheaper variant of this flagship. Both devices came with seamless 5G connectivity. Early this month, the company presented the Moto G 5G Plus, as the first 5G smartphone in the Moto G series. Recently, rumors started to spread about the launch of the Moto G9 Plus. Today, live photos and hands-on video of the alleged Moto E7 have leaked out.

The original report came from 91Mobiles, it reveals some live photos and even a hands-on video of the unreleased Moto E7. The leaked material is enough to give us a good glimpse of Motorola’s upcoming low-end smartphone.

Gizchina News of the week

Motorola E7 alleged specifications

The Motorola Moto E7 features a waterdrop notch on its display. According to previous leaks, this display has a 6.2-inch diagonal. Moving back to the rear, we’ll have a dual-camera setup with 13MP main and 2MP secondary sensors. The Motorola logo is present on the back, and it probably doubles as a fingerprint scanner. Motorola definitively has trimmed down the bezels of this display, but it’s not the slimmest we’ve seen. Of course, the design is something often sacrificed in devices of this kind and price ratio.

According to rumors, the handset will boast 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage along with the already old, Snapdragon 632 Processor. Of course, this is a good chipset for a Moto E-series smartphone. The source also states that there will be a 4GB of RAM version with 64GB of Internal Storage which definitely is a plus. The handset will run Android 10 straight out of the box with a few Motorola modifications and apps. The Moto E7 might go official in the end of the month. Hopefully, it will be priced below $150, but we never know, as Motorola definitively traces a path that is slightly different from other companies, especially the Chinese ones.

Recent reports also indicate the arrival of a Moto G9 Plus. We can’t confirm the arrival of the G9 Plus along with the Moto E7, but this is likely going to happen.
