While Huawei’s future is slightly uncertain due to the ban applied by the US and some of its allies, the company keeps trying to keep its userbase with new smartphones featuring MediaTek chipsets and Google-less EMUI 10. Today, a new smartphone sporting model code TNN-AN00 surfaced in the realm of TENAA regulatory agency. The device apparently will carry Huawei Enjoy 20s moniker. Moreover, TENAA listing reveals pretty much all specifications of the handset.
Huawei Enjoy 20S alleged specifications
The Huawei TNN-AN00 aka Huawei Enjoy 20s flaunts a 6.8-inch TFT display with Full HD+ resolution. The panel has a punch-hole in the upper-left corner for the 16MP selfie snapper. Moving around to the back, the handset boasts a triple-camera setup which combines 64MP, 8MP, and 2MP sensors.
Under the hood, the handset boasts an Octa-Core processor clocked at 2.0GHz. This chipset is the Dimensity 800 SoC made on the very efficient 7nm process. This particular chipset features Four ARM Cortex-A76 Cores plus four power-efficient Cortex-A55 cores. It provides faster app loading and faster game processing. The handset will come with 4GB, 6GB or 8GB of RAM. Storage-wise it will be available in variants with 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB of Storage and it will offer support for NM card for storage expansion.
Gizchina News of the week
The TNN-AN00 will also feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and will support dual-mode 5G (SA/NSA). The handset will be available in Black, Green, and Blue colors. It will draw power from a 4,200mAh battery. Moreover, we can expect Android 10-based EMUI 10.1 to be running on top without Google services. Instead, Huawei will equip it with the usual plethora of Huawei Mobile Services applications. According to the 3C listing, the handset might come with a 22.5W fast-charger.
It may go official along with the vanilla Enjoy 20 in China
You will notice some similarities between this handset and the Honor Play 4. Except for the fact that the Honor Play 4 announced in June has an additional 2MP module on its back. The company is yet to give an official statement regarding the Huawei Enjoy 20s, however, during the last week, a couple of images of the Enjoy 20 were spotted. The company is most likely releasing both handsets at the same date in China. Of course, we have no idea if this handset will ever leave China. Considering the company’s current situation this probably won’t happen.
