OnePlus will soon launch its much-awaited flagship mid-range smartphone dubbed OnePlus Nord. The official global launch is set for July 21 which will be held using AR technology. In fact, the Chinese company has already started taking pre-orders in several countries. The device has already been a part of numerous leaks and to spice things up, we now have camera specs of the smartphone. The key highlight of this leak is the fact that it comes straight from the staff member of the OnePlus forum.
OnePlus Nord to come with six total cameras!
While we have previously seen some leaks about the camera module of OnePlus Nord, the new leak comes from a staff member. As per the forum post, OnePlus Nord will arrive with a total six cameras – four on the rear and two on the front. Apart from this, the device will also feature some additional sensors on the module. Talking about the rear module, we’re looking at a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens. We also have a 5MP depth sensor along with a macro lens. Sadly, there is no information on the macro lens as of now.
Gizchina News of the week
The primary 48MP lens comes with an aperture of f/1.75 and it also supports Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). For selfies and video calling, there is a 32MP primary lens accompanied by a secondary ultrawide sensor. The front primary sensor will support a 105-degree field of view so that users can take wide-angle selfies covering multiple people. All this information falls in line with the previous leak that exposed almost everything about the internals. With that said, we already know that the brand is expected to enhance the software processing. If done right, this should enhance the camera photography experience.
Considering the previous leak, OnePlus Nord will arrive with a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, 2400 x 1800 pixels and 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the device will run on Snapdragon 765G chipset paired with 8/12GB RAM and 128/256GB onboard memory. All of these are expected to run on a 4,115 mAh battery with the support of 30W fast charging. Other features include Android 10, NFC and Bluetooth 5.1.
Price, Availability
As of now, we don’t have any concrete information on the pricing of the device. Considering it is a mid-range flagship device, it should fall somewhere below the $450 segment. The official launch is right around the corner that we might see some end moment leaks in the coming days.
