New renders of the promising flagship Huawei Mate 40 have appeared on the web. The smartphone poses with a curved screen – according to rumors, for the first time in the series, both the standard Mate 40 and the top Mate 40 Pro will have this screen type.
Huawei Mate 40 latest renderings have been exposed
The images show almost no bezels, no embedded front-facing camera and a standard headphone jack. From all this, we can conclude that the pictures are far from reality, but the screen display may turn out to be quite believable.
According to the latest data, the Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro will soon be on the assembly line, which means that their design has already been fully approved. The premiere of the new smartphones should take place according to plan – in the middle or end of September. Versions of the Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro for China will definitely be built on Kirin SoC, but in international versions, you can use the MediaTek platform.
Huawei Mate 40 series outside China may use a MediaTek chip
Over the past few months, there have been multiple reports regarding Huawei’s latest flagship smartphones. The Huawei Mate 40 Series will probably arrive in September but there are some uncertainties regarding this device. Whenever Huawei releases a new flagship Kirin chip, the Mate series debuts it in Q4 of the same year while the P Series also uses it in Q1 of the next year. This means that the 5nm Kirin 1020 or 1000 will be used in the Huawei Mate 40 series as well as the Huawei P50 series. Nevertheless, there are some uncertainties.
