Amidst a flurry of leaks, Samsung is launching the Galaxy Note 20 series on August 5th. Ahead of the online event, a yet another render of the Note 20 Ultra has been showcased this time in all directions.
Popular tipster Evan Blass(@evleaks) has posted a clear 360º render of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra on his Patreon. The device spins off in the gif and it has the hot and happening “Mystic Bronze” colour. It has the centred punch-hole display which the Samsung likes to call Infinity-O design.
Note 20 Ultra: A Clear look
The display is taller and has fewer bezels this time around compared to the Note 10 but we will have to wait and see how the real phone looks. Both the front and rear curve subtly to the sides and should help in ergonomics.
There is a power button and volume rockers to the right and a Bixby button is missing to the left. On the back, there is this huge bump for the squared camera layout and hosts a bunch of sensors.
There are three main lenses, an LED flashlight and what seems to be a focus related tech beneath the flashlight and a Samsung branding at the bottom of the rear. The render, however, doesn’t reveal the top and bottom of the device.
Specifications (Expected)
At this point, everything is familiar about the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. It is expected to have a 6.9-inch Super AMOLED curved display unlike the Note 20 and come with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Gizchina News of the week
Based on the region, it could have either Exynos 990 or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC but the sad part is, global markets which get the Exynos will have to live with the old Exynos. As for the optics, the Note 20 Ultra will have a huge 108MP Samsung sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide and a 13MP Telephoto lens complete the rear setup.
The device is said to have a digital zoom upto 50X and boast 4K and 8K recording at 21:9 aspect ratio. Along with the Note 20, the higher sibling ultra will also have 5G, VoLTE, GPS, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC for connectivity.
Auxiliaries will include the USB Type-C port, Samsung Pay, DeX, IP68 certification, in-display fingerprint sensor, Qi wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging. It is said to feature a 4,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging support and come in 12/16GB DDR5 RAM and 128/256/512GB UFS 3.1 storage.
Not just the Note 20 Ultra, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 has also appeared in a blurry render in Mystic bronze with a similar huge camera layout, bigger inner and a full-sized secondary display.
