Smartphones have become a big priority during the pandemic. And with the Amazon Prime Day in India coming fast, there are likely to be some good smartphone deals that customers can benefit from. Amazon is coming up with exclusive sale offers up to 40% off on electronic items like mobiles. Furthermore, accessories with 10% instant discount for HDFC Credit/Debit cardholders will also be available via the Prime Day Sale in India.
The new Prime Day Sale which is exclusive to Amazon Prime customers will last for 48hours in the country Starting August 6th at 12AM IST.
Flagship smartphone deals
To shed light on some deals, it is the older flagships of previous years. So far, the smartphones that are confirmed to get offers are the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro, 7T and 7T Pro, Samsung Galaxy S10, Apple iPhone 11, and Xiaomi Mi 10. The biggest of them all is the Galaxy S10 which is sure to get at least ₹20,000 discount from the launch price of ₹71,000.
It is listed at ₹4X,X99 as of now and even if it launches at ₹49,999 we feel it will be a good deal. It is already live as a part of today’s limited-time deal with a list price of ₹49,999 for the 8/128GB variant.

OnePlus’ yesteryear flagship 7T and 7T Pro is listed under exchange offer and unlikely to get a big deal as the device is already selling at ₹37,999 and ₹47,999 with a ₹6,000 and ₹2,000 discount from the original price respectively.
Xiaomi’s Mi 10 and iPhone 11 are also listed under the page and look like they might join the bandwagon of exchange offers too. Amazon is known for giving no-cost EMI upto 12 months and smartphones like the newly launched OnePlus 8, 8 Pro and the older Galaxy S10 are sure to get them.
Deals on Budget companions and new launches
Apart from a flagship, budget smartphones like Redmi 8A Dual, Oppo A5 2020, F15, Samsung Galaxy M11, M21, and M31, Vivo V19 and S1 Pro, and Honor 9X are sure to get some deals. To make the Prime Day Sale special, Amazon has partnered with a few companies like Xiaomi, OnePlus, Samsung, Honor for new device launches.
Samsung Galaxy M31s and Honor 9A will launch on July 30 and 31st respectively, while the OnePlus Nord which is already launched will go on sale starting August 6th. Redmi’s Note 9 will get a new Scarlet Red edition and new variants for Note 9 Pro and Pro Max from August 6th in addition to a mysterious smartphone launch which could be the Redmi 9.
