After a few rumors, it’s official, Xiaomi India / Redmi has just unveiled new variants for the recently released Redmi Note 9 and Note 9 Pro Max. The Redmi Note 9 Pro will now be available in 4GB RAM + 128GB of Storage while the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max will have a variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of Storage. 8GB of RAM is always something amazing to see in a mid-range phone like this one.
The new 4GB / 128GB variant of the Note 9 Pro will go on sale tomorrow, July 28, at 12 noon on Amazon India and Mi.com. It will retail for INR 15,999, which is just around $214. The Note 9 Pro Max, on the other hand, will be sold on Wednesday, July 29 for INR 19,999, around $267. Those are good prices for the new RAM / Storage combos, especially when both phones come with support for microSD cards. You can easily double up the storage amount with a good 128GB microSD card.
