Xiaomi Mi Charger 33W launched for just 69 yuan ($10)


Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, is doing quite well in the smartphone market. The company does not restrict itself to smartphones, it also produces necessary accessories. Recently, Xiaomi Mall has quietly put a “Xiaomi Mi Charger 33W” on the shelves. This charger supports Xiaomi’s proprietary charging protocol with 11V/3A/33W power. Furthermore, it also supports magical PD output. Up to now, Xiaomi’s private fast charge protocol has several grades such as 65W, 40W, 33W, 30W, 27W, 22.5W, etc. All these solutions support Mi ChargeTurbo, and they are all USB-A interfaces.

The Xiaomi Mi Charger 33W will offer its maximum 33W charging power to phones like Xiaomi Mi 10, Redmi K30 Pro, Redmi 10X Pro, etc. Among them, the Redmi K30 Pro with 4700 mAh battery can charge 64% in half an hour. It will take about 63 minutes to get a full charge.

It comes with support for smart temperature control and can independently adjust the frequency. The Xiaomi 33W fast charger is currently available for purchase on Mi.com and it sells for just 69 yuan ($10). Unfortunately, this device ships only within China from the Mi Store in China. However, it will probably arrive in third-party stores that ships globally soon. As usual, at third-party stores, the price will be a bit higher.
