Vivo S7 teaser image appears online ahead of the launch, reveals design and color

Vivo is currently gearing up for its upcoming launch event where the brand is set to launch its Vivo S7 5G smartphone. For those who’re unaware, the official unveiling is set for August 3. Ahead of the official launch, a new teaser image has appeared online revealing some key information about the phone. Thanks to the teaser, we now know the rear design along with how the camera module will look and one of the color options.

As you can see in the image, the upcoming Vivo S7 will come in a gradient color option. It seems to have taken inspiration from sunset for this new gradient scheme. We might see more color information in the next few days. At the back, you can see the rectangular camera module housing three selfie camera sensors. Sadly, we can’t see whether the module has a big protrusion or not. There is a vertical Vivo logo on the left side. It also has 5G written alongside confirming that the device will indeed support 5G connectivity. Lastly, you can see the USB Type-C port at the bottom.

Sadly, the teaser doesn’t reveal the front of the smartphone but worries not, since numerous leaks have already pointed out key takeaways. The smartphone will arrive with a bath-typed styled wider notch at the front. Another key highlight of the smartphone is its ultra-slim form factor. With that said, the previous leak revealed the smartphone in white color, showcasing the front notch as well.

Expected Specs, Features

We’re expecting the Vivo S7 to come with a 6.4-inch AMOLED panel with a Full HD+ resolution and ultra-thin bezels. It will also feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, the device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB onboard memory.

For optics, there is a triple camera module on the back featuring a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 13MP tertiary sensor. For selfies, we might see a dual camera module featuring a 44MP primary sensor paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens. Other specs include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0.

For pricing, the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard memory might be priced around RMB 2,998 (i.e. $428). The top model, on the other hand, might set you back around RMB 3,298 (i.e $471).
