Specifications, Features
With pricing out of the way, let’s talk about what Galaxy M31s brings to the table. The Galaxy M31s is equipped with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution. For added protection, there is a layer of Gorilla Glass 3 on top. Under the hood, the device runs on Exynos 9611 chipset paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage.
Just like most phones in this range, we’re looking at a quad rear camera setup housed inside a rectangular module. The large rectangular module houses a new 64MP Sony IMX682 sensor, a 12MP 123-degree ultrawide lens, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro lens. For selfies and video calling, there is a single 32MP front shooter. Both the front and rear cameras support 4K video recording.
Falling in line with the leaks, the internals will get its juice from a massive 6,000 mAh battery with the support of 25W fast charging. Unlike the competitors, you will also get the 25W fast-charger bundled inside the box. Samsung is claiming that the device will take around 97 mins to charge from zero to 100%.
For biometrics, there is a fingerprint sensor on the side. Lastly, the device runs on Android 10 with One UI 2.1 skin on top. With that said, the launch of Galaxy M31s might confuse the potential buyers between the new variant and the regular Galaxy M31. To help you with that, we will soon publish our comparison on the same.
