According to a new report from DigiTimes, the Apple Watch Series 6 is arriving this fall 2020 along with the iPhone 12 series. The report says that Taiwan’s ASE has got major orders for a SiP sensor in the coming Apple Watch. Moreover, the publication states that the new wearable will feature biosensors to monitor sleeping conditions, blood oxygen levels. It will also be capable of measuring pulse rates, heartbeats as well as atrial fibrillation. The wearable is said to incorporate the MEMS-based accelerometer as well as a gyroscope for precise measurements. The possibility of an upcoming blood oxygen level sensor surfaced a few weeks ago after the leaked iOS 14 code indicated the arrival of the new sensor. In addition to the mentioned additions, Ming-Chi Kuo, the Apple Watch Series 6 will come with LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) for the flexible circuit board. It will further improve the smartwatch.
