Samsung UV sterilizer with 10W wireless charging released


Samsung recently launched a UV sterilizer that can sterilize smartphones, TWS earplugs, smartwatches, etc. in just 10 minutes. This product is already available in Thailand, Germany and other countries. However, it just released it for the Asian market. Interestingly, Samsung’s UV sterilizer also functions as a 10W wireless charger. According to the company, after the disinfection process is complete, the device will continue to charge all gadgets.

Samsung’s UV sterilizers are manufactured by Samsung C&T, a partner of the Samsung Mobile and Accessories Partnership Program (SMAPP). The authenticity certification of this device shows that it can eliminate 99% of bacteria. The likes of  E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and Candida albicans are inclusive.

Samsung UV sterilizer disinfects all sorts of gadgets in 10 minutes

You can use this device to disinfect smartphones with a 7-inch display and lower. It has dual ultraviolet lamps, so the device will sterilize the top and bottom of the item at the same time. According to Samsung, you can operate the sterilizer with a button. In addition, users do not need to wait for the power to turn off, because the device will automatically turn off after 10 minutes of use.

Furthermore, the Samsung UV sterilizer comes with a magnetic cover that gives airtight closure and a stable feel when opening/closing the case. Also, it uses a rubber stopper as well as a soft-free angle hinge to deliver a seamless touch.

The UV sterilizer is a perfect and compact device. You can buy Samsung’s UV sterilizer for Rs 3,599 ($48). Also, this device will be available on all retail channels including Samsung’s online store in early August 2020.
