Immediately after the announcement of Samsung’s new smartphone, which is equipped with a foldable screen, renowned insider and designer Ben Geskin laid out his vision of what the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 might look like.
Galaxy Z Fold 3
There is almost no doubt that the South Korean manufacturer will release the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. Smartphones with foldable screens are gradually gaining popularity, and the new device model turned out to be much better than the original one. So Samsung is likely to continue to improve the design further, and as the price of flexible screens becomes cheaper, such smartphones will attract more attention.
The imaginary Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, according to an insider, will be equipped with larger diagonal screens, reduced bezels, and most importantly – sub-screen cameras, main and front.
Earlier, Ross Young, founder of research companies Display Supply Chain Consultants and DisplaySearch, says Samsung is in no rush to implement the technology. He confirmed that we will not see a sub-screen camera in the next-generation Samsung Galaxy S, which may come out under the names Samsung Galaxy S21 or Samsung Galaxy S30. Samsung may well introduce subscreen cameras in the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3.

What makes the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 look so amazing is the 7.7-inch AMOLED display. It has a resolution of 2213×1689 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. Thus, its diagonal is 0.4 inches longer than that of what we have found on the previous model. But what is more worthy of our attention is the aspect ratio, which is closer to a square. In other words, the bottom side is longer. Well, if putting simply, the screen is 13.5% larger than the older one.
Unfortunately, we can’t inform you about its pricing, as this is the only model announced yesterday that didn’t get it. But we know, the phone will go on sale on September 1.
