Just yesterday, Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, held a press conference where it released a couple of Xiaomi phones including the Mi 10 Ultra with a 48-megapixel camera array, 120W fast charging and the Redmi K30 Ultra with the Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ chipset, an AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and more.
Considering the history of POCO India rebranding Redmi smartphones, and then launching it in India; under the POCO branding such as the case for the Redmi Note 9 Pro being rebranded as the POCO M2 Pro; the Redmi K30 being rebranded as the POCO X2; people are expecting the K30 Ultra or the Mi 10 Ultra to be launching in India; either with the POCO or Redmi branding.
According to GSMArena, who was informed by a Xiaomi representative that both the Mi 10 Ultra and Redmi K30 Ultra are exclusive to China and are unlikely to go global. Their debut under a different sub-brand such as Poco was also ruled out.
