The design of the upcoming iQOO 5 Pro is fully revealed


Vivo’s sub-brand, iQOO, is only 1.5 years old. But during this short period, it has already managed to release several interesting devices that offered a close to the optimal ratio of performance and price. The manufacturer strives to offer decent hardware in its models and the iQOO 5/5 Pro is no exception.

The debut of the smartphone will take place on August 17, when the company will declassify all its characteristics. And today we offer you a look at the appearance of the iQOO 5 Pro thanks to the photos that were leaked to the Weibo network by insiders. The front panel is typical for our days. A display with a curved edge and a round hole for the front camera.

The rear panel is styled in carbon fiber and right there is a rectangular block of the main camera with three camera sensors. It is noteworthy that the lenses are all of different shapes, and there is also a periscope among them.

It is already known that the iQOO 5 will be built on the basis of Snapdragon 865. The phone will have a 4000 mAh battery, at least 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a UFS 3.1 flash drive up to 512 GB. In addition, an AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz is also present. The new devices will support fast 120-watt charging and 120 dB stereo speakers. Recall that on August 17, iQOO 5 and iQOO 5Pro should be presented. As well as a special version – iQOO 5 BMW Special Edition.

iQOO 5 Pro BMW Edition with Triple Rear Cameras Teased

iQOO had previously confirmed its partnership with BMW M Motorsport for the 2020 DMT season. Furthermore, it was revealed that the company will be launching a special BMW edition of the iQOO 5 series on Aug. 17 alongside the regular iQOO 5. Recently, the company rolled out a new teaser that gives us a good look around the rear of seemingly the iQOO 5 Pro BMW Edition.

iQOO 5

The newly arrived poster of the iQOO 5 Pro BMW edition reveals a textured back panel. It could be possibly made out of carbon fibre material. The rear panel seems to have curved edges with blue accents matching the headlights of the BMW car. The image also reveals a triple rear camera module housed in vertically-aligned camera setup. While the exact arrangements of the three cameras are not known yet there seems to be a periscope lens with the third camera module.

As per a tipster, the iQOO 5 Pro will be housing a 16mm to 135mm focal length. The iQOO 5 Pro is rumoured to arrive with a 5x optical zoom and support up to 60x digital zoom. As for now, it is expected that the iQOO 5 series will include two handsets. This include the iQOO 5 as (V2024A model number) and iQOO 5 Pro as (V2025A model number). Both the handsets are anticipated to arrive with support for up to 120Hz refresh rate.
