OnePlus has been pretty consistent in providing updates and security patches to all its devices in the past. The August 2020 security patch was already rolled out for the pixel devices and a couple of Samsung smartphones previously, now the OnePlus 8 series of smartphones get added to the list.
The previous update which was released in July by OnePlus brought the July 2020 Android Security Patch added with a few new features including support for the OnePlus Buds, new clock styles, and more. Despite that, the latest update that’s rolling out now doesn’t add much apart from the latest security patches to the smartphones. Thanks to XDA Developers for providing the download links.
