A couple of days back, there was some information regarding the OPPO A53; as it had appeared on several certification websites – including NBTC, EEC, FCC, BIS, TKDN, Indonesian Telecom, and Geekbench. Today, from a reliable source, Mysmartprice; the specifications of the upcoming OPPO A53 has been leaked. Here’s complete information.
OPPO A53 Leaked Specifications
Previously, rumors addressed about the likelihood of the OPPO A53; arriving powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset; but according to MySmartPrice, the upcoming handset will be featuring the newly announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 chipset; which Qualcomm claims will be shipped with devices by the end of the year. The Snapdragon 460 is a new chipset and offers a massive jump in performance; when compared to older SD 400 series SoC’s and utilizes the powerful Kryo 240 CPUs and the Adreno 610 GPU for graphics.

Moving on to the front, the display on the OPPO A53 has been sized at 6.53-inches across; and it happens to be an IPS LCD panel instead of an OLED or AMOLED with support for 90Hz refresh rate. The handset utilizes a punch-hole on the front to house the selfie sensor. For biometrics, the OPPO A53 gets a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for additional security.

The Snapdragon 460 utilizes the 11nm manufacturing process with 8 Kryo 240 cores and a max clock of 1.8GHz. The integrated GPU is an Adreno 610; along with a Hexagon 683. Compared with the Snapdragon 450, the new SoC should bring a 70% higher CPU performance and 60% increase in GPU performance. Meanwhile, the built-in Spectra 340 ISP can support a maximum resolution of 25MP and up to three cameras. It integrates a Snapdragon X11 LTE baseband (390Mbps), support for UFS 2.1 flash storage, LPDDR3 / LPDDR4X RAM, QC 3.0 fast charge, etc.
