Earlier this week, Vivo’s gaming sub-division iQOO launched a bunch of new devices namely iQOO 5, iQOO 5 Pro, and iQOO BMW M Motorsport Edition. The vanilla variant of the smartphone comes with features such as 120Hz display, flagship Snapdragon 865 chipset, and much more. Well, the device now will go on sale tomorrow. Here is everything you need to know about the sale, price, and of course, specifications of the smartphone.

As mentioned earlier, interested buyers will be able to purchase the iQOO 5 smartphone starting tomorrow at 0:00. The base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage will be available for 3998 Yuan (i.e. $578). The high-end model, on the other hand, will set you back for 4598 Yuan (i.e. $664). For those who’re unaware, the top variant comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. The device comes in two color options namely Blue and Gray.

To recall, Vivo iQOO 5 comes with a 6.56-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2376 pixels and 298 PPI pixel density. It also comes with HDR10+ and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB onboard storage. The chipset is fabricated using a 7nm+ manufacturing process and features eight cores clocked at up to 2.42GHz. For graphics, the chipset makes use of Adreno 650 GPU.

In terms of optics, the device features a triple-camera module on the back having a 50MP primary sensor, 13MP portrait lens, and 13MP ultrawide lens. For selfies and video calling, there is a single 16MP front snapper housed inside the cutout. Speaking of design, the primary lens on the rear comes with a circular accent which depends on the color of the smartphone. With the rear camera, you can record up to 8K video while the front supports 1080p at 30fps.

Powered by 4,500 mAh battery, the device supports 55W fast charging technology. According to the brand, the device can go from zero to 100% in just 50 minutes. Other specifications include an under-display fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band WiFi, NFC, and USB Type-C port. The device weighs around 197 grams and has a dimension of 160 x 75.6 x 8.3mm.
