Resurrection Remix 8.5.7 Provides a custom Android 10-based Experience

TSmartphone users who like transforming their device with their choice of custom ROMs will be pleased to hear that Resurrection Remix has developed a new ROM that is now reportedly fully stable and based on the open-source code from Android 10. This new software package also brings security patches right up to date, as they come from August 2020.

The Resurrection Remix 8.5.7 downloads are prepared by codename so make sure you select the correct link for your Xiaomi/Redmi/OnePlus/Samsung/Asus/Google/Motorola or any other smartphone (see “Sources” for download link). The Android 10-based custom ROM is also available for some Asus ZenFones, a couple of Google devices, some Motorola smartphones, various OnePlus devices, and the Samsung Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+, and Galaxy Note 9 (see the full list in the drop-down box below).

Note: Make sure to back up all your data and select the right software package for your smartphone ere attempting to flash the device. XDA Developers points out that this particular Resurrection Remix ROM builds also have Google Services apps combined, which is an added time-saving bonus.

The version number of the latest Android 10-based Resurrection Remix is 8.5.7, albeit version 8.5.8 is already available for a few of the supported devices. Apart from just bumping the underlying Android layer, the new builds also bring along the latest Android security patches from the month of August.
