Xiaomi already has a plethora of smart televisions under its Mi TV Indian portfolios along with few accessories. Well, the Chinese smartphone maker is now planning to bring yet another Mi TV dubbed Xiaomi Mi TV Horizon Edition. Sounds familiar, right? Well, the smartphone maker already has a Horizon Edition of its Mi Notebook which it launched earlier this year.
Xiaomi India recently announced the launch in its official Twitter account. As per the post, the new Horizon Edition is going to be a “Work of Art” and will launch on September 7. There is a small glimpse of the design showcasing ultra-thin bezels. It is worth mentioning that the brand hasn’t launched any Horizon Edition television in any other market or region. This means that we don’t have any crucial information about the product.

Gizchina News of the week
The Twitter post also links the teaser page of the product which talks about what we can expect from the Mi TV. The teaser page mentions taglines such as “A Sumptuous Feeling”, “Quintessential Display Tech”, “PatchWall Experience”, “More Is Always More” and “Quick Wave”. Considering the teaser page, we can expect an impressive display panel and of course, the PatchWall Experience. With PatchWall, the Mi TV Horizon Edition will support various OTT platforms such as Netflix, YouTube, Disney+ Hotstar, Prime video, and more.
Furthermore, Xiaomi claims that there are going to be more than 5000+ apps in the app library. The Quick Wake, as the name suggests, will boot up your TV much faster. This feature will come in handy since Xiaomi throws in a long booting process in its Mi TVs. Apart from this, the teaser page doesn’t really talk about anything else. Interested customers can also make use of the Notify Me button to stay updated.
We are expecting the brand to reveal more features in the comings days via teaser images or videos. If that happens, we’ll make sure to keep our readers updated.
